Design Attempt Version #1These were my first attempts at designing a Heraldic Standard. These first attempts used a triangular split format that might not have been used in the period the SCA covers. Some of the designs are based on some misconceptions. Also showing the fealty chain represented by the populace badges of the Kingdom, Principality, and Barony all on one standard is perhaps inappropriate. More details can be found on the Version #1 Web Page. |

Design Attempt Version #2These are the second batch. They use a more standard design, one that I've seen used historically. I've also improved the graphic of my dolphin and rose badge and added my motto. In addition to the individual designs using the badges of the Kingdom of An Tir, the Principality of Tir Righ, and the Barony of Lions Gate, I have added one with my own Arms at the mast.I am using a version of the badge I'm designing for myself using a heraldic rose "proper" or red and a heraldic dolphin "argent" or silver. I am also contemplating of using a rose "argent" instead of proper or perhaps using the rose "proper" but having it actually on the dolphin. More details can be found on the Version #2 Web Page. |
